An interesting blog - Dollhouse Miniature Furniture - Tutorials, 1 inch mini

Hello! I hope you are already having a great start of this new year 2014!!  :)

I have only started recently, Dec '13 to post on my blog, and I have only posted about needle felting. But I do love miniatures too, I admire them, I buy them, I make them with polymer clay and I read about them. Some time ago I came across a blog "Dollhouse Miniature Furniture - Tutorials, 1 inch mini" and I was impressed by the super detailed instructions on all tutorials that Kris, the owner of the blog, makes. She makes some really great, very well made miniature furniture and items for the house. She mostly uses materials that you can find anywhere, like paper, card stock, glue and she also writes all the measurements for people to follow and make outstanding pieces in 1:12. On the left of her blog, you can see all the pictures from people that have made furniture pieces with her tutorials.

Here are some example of the items she makes and made tutorials for :

Shabby chic bed made with card stock.

Vase made with quilling paper.

Old radio made from paper.

French chaise long made from card stock.

I wanted to share her website with you, because I find it interesting and I thought you might too. She posts one tutorial per month and remember that if you ever decide to follow one of these tutorials and make something, you can paint your items as you like, making them fit perfectly in your doll house or your miniature space.
Oh....she even makes vases, some very good looking ones, with quilling paper and uses card stock for many, many of the projects!!!

Again, this is Kris Compas, at Dollshouse Miniature Furniture - Tutorials, 1 inch minis

I will post again soon about my little house. Until then I hope you find Kris' tutorials easy to make and give it a try. If you do, let me know!
Hugs!!
